After two wonderful years as Owner and Executive Chef of Julia’s Kitchen, I have decided to close the business end of this venture. Though I still enjoy all things food-related, I feel that my greatest contribution to all of you lies in sharing the knowledge I have acquired in culinary school and through my personal experiences both prior to and post graduation. Therefore Chew On This, the official blog of Julia’s Kitchen will remain open and active.
My committment to fresh and natural cooking with locally sourced ingredients remains strong, and is always reflected in the recipes I publish on this website. I believe in transparent eating — that you should know where everything comes from before you ingest it. Thus, the recipes and techniques you will read about here will teach you how to cook from scratch.
